Classix adds on-device intelligence and deeper Apple integration

Classix’s 2026 Apple platform update brings on-device intelligence and deeper system integration to its experience for iOS 27, tvOS 27 and visionOS 27.

The release expands personalised Home curation using Apple Foundation Models on supported devices. AI Search supports natural, multi-turn searches by mood, topic, actor or title.

Siri and App Shortcuts provide ways to play, search and navigate Classix. Spotlight integration brings movies and TV shows into system search, while updated Now Playing support adds remote controls and Lock Screen artwork.

Resizable layouts support iPhone, iPad and windowed use. The release also adds generated subtitles with on-device captioning in supported languages, plus Like and Not for Me feedback and a More Like This tray in the Apple TV player.

Intelligence and captioning features depend on supported devices and languages. The release builds on July’s taste-based onboarding and personalised Home.
